From early life experience, the call to become a Bereavement Counselor was clear to Judith. She
graduated with a Master’s Degree from Salve Regina University with continued classes to become
an Expressive Arts Facilitator. From there to The Chaplaincy School that included clinical hours at Rhode Island Hospital. She has worked for many years with hospice patients and families. Judith is sensitive those who grieve, understands and offers support to those who suffer a loss.
Seeing a Bereavement Counselor can be described as a storm torn boat seeking a safe harbor from the raging sea. Life can seem to be an upheaval of questions, sadness, anger, a mix of turbulent feelings so foreign and heart breaking.
My goal is to listen without judgment or opinion to your sorrow and support to find a way back to a peace you can live with. It’s a journey that we did not choose, can resent and realize there is no choice but to work a way through these waves of feelings. It’s important to know it can be a shifting to a place of peace, a renewed love of life and beauty can be yours once again in a different and beautiful way. A visit can be a place where you can find understanding, privacy, support, and comfort, on your journey. To learn how to stay connected to those you love, to celebrate those who have gone before you. And to know you are not alone and someone is here to calm the raging sea you are currently feeling.
Grief Counseling Sessions are available on Mondays 9am – 4pm
